Question 2: How thick will my new concrete be?
For residential projects, concrete slabs are installed at a minimum thickness of four inches to meet building code requirements and ensure long-term durability. For commercial applications, a minimum thickness of six inches is recommended to handle increased load demands and structural stress.
Question 3: What is a "sealer" and do I need it?
Concrete sealer is available in both water-based and oil-based formulas, designed to protect your surface from oil, dirt, and other staining elements. For stamped concrete, we typically apply an oil-based sealer to enhance color depth and provide a rich, glossy finish.
